Lemon Juice
Serves for 2
Ingredients
- 450 ml/ ¾ pt / 2 ½ cups boiling water
- 1 lemon
Directions
- Pour the boiling water into a jug. If you are using an organic lemon, wipe it, then carefully peel three or four thin strips of zest from the fruit
- Twist the strips of zest to release the oils, then submerge them in the boiling water
- Squeeze the juice from the lemon and stir into the water
- Leave for about 5 minutes before pouring into individual glasses
